You get what you think about

April 5, 2009

You’ve heard that you are the creator of your own reality, right? How by focusing your mind and adjusting your vibration you can influence the energy that then precipitates down to affect and to create the physical reality. Our physical world is energy vibrating with specific frequency, that we can  experience through out bodies and interpret through our senses. Our mind is a focusing mechanism with which we can direct the flow of the Source energy towards specific goals and outcomes. In other words at our disposal we have access to and can utilize the power that creates worlds. All powerful beings we are. Do we use that power? Only very few of us have the conscious realization of our potential and are able to harness the power of mind and deliberate thinking. To be a deliberate creator means to take full responsibility for your life, for your thoughts, for your mind.  There is no separation between you and the other. Whatever thought we focus our mind on, we give it energy. It really only takes a few seconds of focused attention on any subject to magnetize that thought and to begin to draw to it thoughts and energies that match that vibration. The longer and more intensely we are focused on a subject, the quicker it manifests. However, this is an inclusion based universe. It doesn’t really matter whether you are focused positively or negatively on a subject, whether you say YES to something or shout NO to it, you give it energy just the same and the Law of Attraction starts to work on it immediately bringing it into creation. Do not give any attention to things you don’t want. Simply focus on what you want. Relax and align with the Source part of you, and the river of Life will take you to where you want to go.

What do flying and yoga have in common?

March 24, 2009

Yoga is one of the best ways for practicing presence and today I went to an amazing yoga class. A new yoga trend sweeping the nation called Acro Yoga which combines …acrobatics with yoga. You don’t have to be however an acrobat or superhuman to practice this yoga. All you need is an ability to trust and listen and connect with another human being. You see, what’s different about this practice is that for the most part it’s done with a partner. A series of flowing poses with one participant acting as a base and the other being a flyer. The base’s role is to support and provide a solid foundation which allows the flyer the freedom of movement in a gravity defying sequence of poses. Acro yoga takes the solitary yoga practice to a whole new level where you not only need to be aware of your own body, breath and mind but also of your partner. Need I say that unless both flyer and the base are fully present, balanced and aligned with each other,  the pose becomes a struggle and is not fun, as they try to correct the lack of balance with sheer muscle power.

Flying Meditation

Flying Meditation

In life just like in yoga when we need to take action, it has to be rooted in a balanced, steady base of our connection with the Source. Unless we feel that balanced place any action we take most likely will result in a struggle to get to our destination but we loose the joy of the  journey.
